Started taking Topamax on vacation to gradually get up to full dose. Went very slowly--got to full dosage at about 4 weeks. I lost weight, but tried to stick with it because the migraines were so bad, but it only reduced them a little bit. At around the 4-5 week mark I was sitting in my living room feeling semi-suicidal and decided I should read the fine print on the side effects. I started this pill two months ago.. I began with having hot flashes at night, constant urge to urinate as well. About three weeks ago I started feeling numbness in my arms, and hands. I started breaking out around the mouth area, headaches, and a lot of bloating..I really began feeling like I was pregnant with bloating, nausea, and tiredness.. Currently waiting on my doctor to call me back to see if I should stop taking it..

My father is on Zoladex for prostate cancer. He seems to have developed little obsessive behaviours - like counting cigarettes, the money in his pocket and writing notes. And a slurping sound with his mouth. I also feel he is sinking into a deep depression and wonder if it's the Zoladex. I am taking him to the doc tomorrow.
