Lolav, I find that for sleep the alternative therapies work better and with less side effects then the pharmaceutical approach. I suggest you check with a health food store to see what they recommend. Valerian is good and so is just plain old hot milk before bed. There are stronger Ayurvedic or Chinese herbs that you can Google- some are common and some you have to go to India for. I like the medication and it works, but I just don't like the pink color, for some reasons. But the pinkcolor is good as well, because it helps me to identify it easily, as I don't know many pink medications.

my legs swelled and went heavy. I like using Midol for menstrual cramps and I've used it for several years. It usually works but it wasn't enough to relieve my cramps the few times that I've had severe pain.
