I have had simular issues. I first started taking chantix Oct 29, 2008. I had terrible abdominal pain and severe nausea. So, I convinced myself to continue taking the drug because I thought nausea and abdominal pain was better than continuing to smoke. Boy was I wrong. I quit smoking on Nov 15, 2008 AND quit taking chantix 3 days later. I knew I had to because chantix was making me very ill. The mucinex dm helped with the congestion, and loosened the phlegm, and made me cough and blow my nose, but it also made me feel real bad all over, with increased anxiety, nervousness, spaced out, blurred vision, feeling faint, lightheaded, no energy, weird uneasy feeling all over.

I make an anti-fungal salve for my mother using olive oil infused with black walnut husks. She has suffered with foot fungus all her life and had very LITTLE relief from her doctor's prescriptions. This is the only thing that helps her. I also add a few drops Manuka essential oil to the salve.

One of the side effects of birth control pills is abnormal vaginal bleeding. That could mean anything from spotting for a day or two to practically being on your period all the time. You may just be experiencing this because it is your first month, and your body hasn't had time to adjust to the new hormones.
