I changed to Lyrica because I heard it was very effective for pain management & it is, but the side effects of weight gain & blurred vision are not worth it to me. I am planning to talk to my Doctor about switching. There are other side effects I could live with, but I'm not taking anything that makes me more hungry. I have enough problems in that area already.

No methadone clinics every morning, waiting in line for my single dose.. it's prescribed and administered at home. I've gradually lowered my dose from 16 to 8 and plan to taper myself completely off at my discretion. The only negative aspect, if you could call it that is.. it's in itself... View full comment

I was quite distressed that I had to come off Celebrex. I experienced an ulcer and upper GI bleeding. Previously, I was taking Tylenol and Ibuprofen for arthritis but the Ibuprofen was hideous and I also experienced an ulcer. Celebrex was the last NSAID in the arsenal for treatment of my arthritis. My knees and back are far worse and I have limited mobility and a higher level of pain now.
