Please don't start Agomelatine with these side-effects in your mind. Wait and see what it does for you. everybody reacts different and it could be the right one for you! I think, if you you have psychosomatic problems that you can definetely "talk" yourself also into not having a benefit from A., because you read a lot of stuff you didn't like to hear and now you fear you might react the same. I was put on Lyrica to control my sciatic nerve pain after I had back surgery. I took this for three months and I saw no improvement in my pain that I was having in my leg. I experienced heavy fatigue while taking this I was always tired and felt kinda light headed and dizzy. My doctor took me off of this and prescribed me Keppra instead, it was a much better product for me.

Six weeks with a Chinese MD acupucturist/herbalist drastically reduced my rapid heart rate, shakes and in general improved symptoms. If you can find a good Chinese-trained one, try acupuncture. Its not a cure but may be good for symptom control. Research at Harvard has shown it is effective for womens hormone problems and back pain.

In addition to cipralex i also have incorporated meditation, follow a healthy diet and get regular exercise. As a r... View full comment
