I really thought I was going mad. Until I finally convinced myself and lots of theropy that it was working. I also have sharp zaps in the head still to this day. I,ve been on it for about 3 months. This medication was by far the worse treatment I have tried for my severe menstrual cramps. It made me so sick to my stomach that it felt like I had the stomach flu everytime I took it. I couldn't sleep at all, I would have severe night sweats, nausea, diarrhea, and just overall felt like crap. I wish I had never even tried this medication, what a waste of 3 months of my life.

Mucinex works really well when you drink enough water. When you don't hydrate enough, it doesn't work at all, and it makes you very dehydrated. This causes dizziness, dryness, and headache.

I've found Aspirin and Advil to both pretty equally keep my headaches/migraines under wraps. I haven't seen any side effects any time that I have used either medication.
