Originally, my dosage was started at 50mg, then raised gradually to 150mg. About two months after reaching full dosage, I started experiencing some side effects that I didnt recognize as side effects at the time. the best way i can describe it is that I started acting very unlike myself. I have osteo arthritis and bone on bone in my knees. Previously, I took Glucosamine-Chondritin/MSM or Alleve and didn't get anywhere near the good results and had to be concerned about liver damage. I would advise some users to cut back their dosage if they are getting heart palpitations. Four per day sounds waaay to high.

Topamax has really helped me. It has stopped my Neuralgia pain completely. Since taking it I have not had any Neuralgia pain. The only thing is that it make my memory a little slower.

I was considering Accutane for cycstic acne, but thought the blood tests, joint pain and peeling lips side effects were a bit much. This was a last resort recommended by the dermo I was regularly seeing, and I am pleased with it. I've been using it for several years for acne on my face and occasionally on my back as well. I have been taking this drug every since I've been in the 5th grade for menstrual cramps. It relieves the pain and to help me function and feel better. It is the only drug that I take for menstrual cramps and nothing else helps. I am very satisfied with this drug.
