Ambien did not help me with my insomnia whatsoever. After taking it, I didn't feel drowsy and had no side effects at all. It felt like I didn't take a medication at all... it had absolutely no effect on me.

At first I experienced negative side effects from Vyvanse including dry mouth, diarrhea, loss of interest in social activities, irritability, sleep disruption, complete loss of appetite, and anxiety. Previous to Prozac I had taken Effexor XR for about 6 years for anxiety. I was switched from Effexor XR to Prozac because of the headaches I got while taking Effexor, but I've still noticed the headaches with Prozac, and I've had so much more anxiety. I'm starting the transition to Cymbalta tomorrow, wish me luck!
