There are so many different kinds of medications out there. You aren't just going to immediately find the right one for you. It's all about trial and error. Trust me, it's an agrivating process and I've wanted to give up many times (I started trying different meds about 7 months ago) I have confedence that I will find one right for me. Pain controlled.....lowered prescription, because I had trouble sleeping. I was taking 4-6 100mg a day for pain after extensive dental work. Lowered to 2 100mg after 3 days for a total of 8 days.

Lortab

I was originally prescribed lortab for fibromyalgia pain. I was prescribed Lortab 10, 4 times a day but quickly began abusing it. It seemed that the longer I took it, the more I had to take to obtain the same pain relief. I abused Lortab for 1 year and as a result became physically and physchologically addicted and finally sought help at a drug rehab treatment facility. This drug is effective for acute pain but I would not recommend for patients with long term chronic pain.

Well it worked to prevent pregnancy because there was no way I could've gotten pregnant when I couldn't even have sex since I basically had my period for a month! In addition I had the pleasure of getting severe cystic acne that I haven't been able to get under control for 3 months. I've never had anxiety in my life and I started having anxiety attacks. I take Sudafed when I have a head cold. It helps unplug my ears but it does not work everytime I take it. I do recommend it.

Lipitor

Developed Parkinson's after 4 yrs of Lipitor therapy for "primary prevention". No fly Hx of neurodegenerative ds; no fly hx of cardiovascular ds. Just mildly elevated TC. Am aware of others who feel Parkinson's due to lipitor, and 2 who feel ALS due to lipitor. Cholesterol necesary for synaptogenesis in brain; brain makes its own cholesterol via same pathway statins interrupt--thus depriving brain of the fat it needs. best drug i have had for schizophrenia been on 2 other drug before receiving amisulpride. had risepdrone which gave me crapping and never really help my state of mind worse drug of the lot. Also had olanzpine which helped my condition but also gain 4 stone in weight in six months dont think i will ever loose the weight. my weight has been stable since going on Amisulpride also my mental state is as good as can be expected.
