I was put on ativan 3 times per day starting in january for panic attacks that I was having. The problem with ativan is that if you are having a panic attack it takes a while for the medicine to kick in and stop it. I also was having some side effects with it such as tremors and nightmares. My doctor switched me to xanax and I liked it a lot better. It stopped my panic attacks within 10 minutes of taking the medicine vs the hour it took to stop them when I was taking the adivan. I had the same horrible stomach/nervous system experiences with Candex and other enzyme products. I even dumped out most of the capsule to attempt a staggering dosage regimen. I quit for over a year, but because my candida problems continue, even with the candida diet, probiotics, and coconut oil, I am trying it again. But same reaction. I wish naturopaths would look into this problem more.
