I have been taking Avonex for about 15 years. I credit Avonex for my ability to keep walking and to continue living a fairly normal life, with a family and a 20-hour job. This has helped amazingly. I no longer get the painful cramps I used to get and I'm less moody during that time of month. Only side effect has been a very dry vagina. Makes sex tough sometimes, but not all the time.

I was looking for something that would help take away my heartburn fast, and this seems to work well. A lot of my friends use it as well ( we are within the age range 20-30). It does take time for it to work, but when it does it works well.

Smaller dosage with the option to self medicate every second or third day provides a rythm I can cope with and live with and the benefits are great for me. I don't get the personality change I did when I tried other anti depressent and drugs for the fibromyalgia and feel much more balanced. This has lead me to go back to school full time! and plan for a good career I can choose my own hours with good pay and benefits.

I was having the same problem, constantly tired this med worked when I first started taking it I lost 20 lbs and was feeling great but after I had my daughter the med stopped working, if you are going to change meds DO NOT take pristiq! took it only once and I feel worse and the reviews are horrible
