I think Claritin-D 24-hour helped most of my symptoms but not all. It definitely alleviated my sinus symptoms, but it neither helped my dry, itchy eyes nor my sore, irritated throat. Throughout the years I have tried numerous allergy medications, and for OTC meds, Claritin- D 24-hour is the best that I have found. I've been on it for just over a month. For the past 2-3 weeks I haven't been able to sleep through the night. I sleep for about 4-5 hours, then wake up repeatedly for the rest of the night (~5-12 times each night, so far) on my placebo week I had 2 very intense nightmares, the first about my boyfriend dying & the second about accidentally killing my cat. Advil pm works in getting me to sleep and keeping me asleep for at least 8hours. I have experienced the most vivid dreams I have ever had. I can actually remember theses dreams all day after awakening. The next night I wonder what I would dream of next and sure enough every night I take Advil Pm I have such realistic, vivid dreams. My 6 year old son developed severe painful hives all over his body. His feet and hands became so swollen and painful that he refused to walk and could not even play anything that involved using his hands. This is the worst reaction I have ever seen in four children. I will never allow my kids to take this drug again.

My wife took Prednisone for treating a rare skin disease. She started having severe side effects like chest pain, restlessness, increased heartbeat, feeling mental madness, high irritability. Afte 2 days of taking it she had to be taken to emergency for recovering from side effects.

My son was diagnosed as Bipolar but was mostly manic and rarely depressed. The doctors started him on Effexor which put him in such a high state of mania that he had to be hospitalized. Yet the doctors kept prescribing this poison. They counteracted it with Seroquel which made him sleep, and Lithium which made him shake so badly he could barely hold onto anything.
