I have been taking Effexor XR in combination with Lexapro for 5 years. Recently deciding to fast and cleanse I stopped taking both meds. Please do not stop abrubtly as I did. Follow the advice of your physician and wean off the meds. I experienced extreme withdrawls including sleeplessness, flash headaches, nausea, extreme sadness and suicidal thoughts. Adderall did what it supposed to do. It kept me up for 48 hours straight. However, there was a consequent. After taking this med I noticed that my heart beat was abnormal. My blood pressure was very high and my emotional well-being changed. I was happier. This med also affect my motor skill. When I took this med I noticed that at times my hands were shaking.

I like NuvaRing because I don't have to worry about taking it daily, and the only side effect I really experience is an improved complexion. I don't like that it needs to be keep cool, so I always need to be somewhere cool or have access to a fridge.
