I am a sufferer of menstrual migraines. I don't have bad periods, just a migrain for 7 days. Its hard to function with one full week out of the month designated to nursing a migrain. Seasonale has decreased these substantially!!! No spotting, easy period.This pill seemed to work like its supposed to for me. During the 4th month I am having some of the tight, heavy chest feeling and my blood pressure is too high all of a sudden. Working with the doctor to see what the cause is.

This is a great drug that actually helps you focus,listen,pay attention, and actually calms hyperactivity. BUT it also makes me feel depressed and feel as if I am not myself by holding the real me back with pills. I try to enjoy myself with friends after taking this medicine but to no avail because I am so calm and always sad.

My thyroid lvls were low so doctor prescribed this to me 25 mg. once a day. I noticed a weight gain immediately, headaches, severe joint pain, my throat felt swollen or like a lump was in it and overall negative effects. I had a hysterectomy the same month the doctor prescribed this so I am unsure if its the levothyroid or effects of no hormones...maybe a little of both. I really appreciate this medication. It works really good, and it regulates my blood pressure very well. I feel more confident, personally, emotionally. I didn't experience any physical changes, but emotionally I feel better.

My libido seems to be lower with Armour thyroid. I read a study that showed that thyroid meds increase SHBG which then lowers free testosterone. My SHBG has been its lowest while taking Armour thyroid. Seems like more than just a coincidence.
