I was prescribed this drug for Fibromyalgia pain. Yes, you feel less pain because you're High as a Kite! At first my husband thought it was funny that I spent my time giggling and walking into things. Obviously not good. This was on a very low dose of 50 mg / 2 x daily. I am very sensitive to this drug and it caused too many problems including memory, confusion, feeling dizzy and/or "high" plus my husband said there was a change in my personality - obviously not a good one.... This medication generally makes me feel very tired, nauseated. I often feel very hot--perspire much more than ever. It is not taking care of the pain. I entered a pain management program with a phy, reccomendation for a neurostimulator for back pain. I wonder if my med was changed to make me think that anything has got to be better than this. Previously I had beem using lortab 5-no more than 2 daily along with soma--usually only once daily.

my pediatrician prescribes it to combat allergy symptoms and we have had no ear infections since taking it - we use it as needed when Allergy symptoms appear - since our son was an infant - and he just turned 5.
