When I forget to take it on time, I get little "electric" shocks, I used to get them when I was starting on the medication as well. I don't really feel like it's doing much for me (if anything at all), I have it paired up with mianserin hydrochloride (20 - 30+ mg / day in the evenings depending on how tired I am - how much rest I've been skipping on previous days) which seems great. In 1984 I was given a single dose (as in One Time Only) of leritine IV push for severe pain and was knocked out for about 4 hours. When I awoke I was legally blind as in almost total darkness; I was later diagnosed with bilateral wet macular degeneration and bilateral neovascularization, the latter of which required laser surgery to arrest its progression. Although my eyesight has improved significantly since the initial injury, I am still legally blind, and the condition is considered to be... View full comment

Holistic Benefits
Turmeric is a common South Asian spice found in the kitchen of many Indian homes (making it very accessible). Known as an Ayurvedic (traditional & natural Indian medicine) medicine, turmeric is actually a plant that carries many alleviating properties--one of which is an antibacterial agent thus making it ideal as an antiseptic. It also clots blood, so when there is a significant cut or wound, quickly applying turmeric will inhibit blood loss.
