Has anyone lost their taste due to thyroid medication cause i have and it's the most awful thing and the doc's don't no what to do about it. it's been like this now for 6 months. can anyone help please. was on carbimazole to start with but changed to PTU to see if it made a difference but unfortunately not.

I am getting off the drug-have serious side-effects with the prozac and wellbutrin xl--anxiety so bad I have to now take ativan for it to get through-odd thing is I have a good normal day and the next is filled with anxiety. so hard to understand what is going on with that-taking every other day-but if I take it 2 days in a row still get the every other day side-effects. Anyone else have that problem??? Thank You-Sandy

I have never had hallucinations in my life. I'm a 39 yr old female and was taking it for severe sinusitus and ear infections which I have been battling since this spring due to allergies. My Dr. gave me xyzal. I am an extremely calm, rational person. Obviously I need to take it so i do...but dealing with the side effects is hard. When I first starting taking Carbimazole it took a long time for it to start working.
