I have no option but to take prednisone but it has destroyed the skin on my legs and it is now paper-thin. I have numerous bruises and am prone to skin-tearing and as a resukt, cellulitis. Prednisone also caused severe cataracts which almost cost me my eye-sight, it has weakened my bones, and elevated my heart beat.

I've been searching everywhere to see if anyone else has had the same violent physical reaction to Candex. I am happy I found this page with a couple of posters who have had identical side effects. A year ago, I was put on a regimen of vitamins, fish oil, probiotics, etc., and completely cleaned up my diet. It was recommended that I also introduce Candex, which I did. Anything to feel better! Medrol has been the one prescription that seems to help right away. The up side to this drug is it takes away the pain the inflammation makes and gives me energy. The down side is the potential side effects can be very bad.

I have been taking Zyflamend for prostate problems when they occur. if I take 2 capsules 2x per day the problems usually clear up with in a weak. If i don't take it, the problems go on without relief.
