I drink a tea or homemade soda of prickly ash daily (we have tons of prickly ash trees in the woods), to help with symptoms from mild hypothyroidism. I skipped a few days last week, and could not figure out why I felt so cold all the time. Then, I realized that that's how I always used to feel, before I started taking the prickly ash. Since restarting the prickly ash, my feelings of coldness have normalized again.

I'm up in the air about this one. I did not notice any significant changes, nor can I prove it was beneficial in any way.

With skepticism, I say that to my surprise, I saw some improvement in alertness. Unsure of long term effects.

Side effects of serc outweigh having to combat vertigo attack entirely by itself. ( I didn't seek treatment for nearly two weeks in the hope it would go away by itself like it did before). Mine is still lingering for nearly five months - fullness of the ear and heaviness on one side of the head - dizziness n... View full comment

It got me out of a severe depressive episode, for which I am grateful. However, I still experience bouts of depression, often in the afternoon. So it is likely not a long term solution for me. Also, I don't like the following side effects: Feeling cold all the time, especially in hands Stronger OCD tendencies than normal Moderate paranoia and heightened OCD 2 hours before time for daily dosage Extreme drowsiness if taken in the morning instead of at night (have now been instructed to take... Have serious concerns about this drug.Causing extreme pain in all muscles. My Mum was able to walk three month ago, now she can barely stand up. Her back, arms and legs ache constantly, worse at night. She was diagnosed with an essential tremor years ago.I have never seen her like this, despite the tremor. Now she looks and presents as though she has Parkinson's disease. This presentation she did not have three months ago.Parkinson's is not a rapid onset disease. She was told this medication wou...
