When I get the flu, I usually try a few over the counter medicines before going to see the doctor. I've tried sudafed in the past and it works ok, but it usually makes me really drowsy. If it makes me too drowsy, I will usually switch to another cold/flu medication.

Over the few months that I took Cymbalta it slowly got rid of the clinical depression. I am male and I had increasing hot flashes several times a day at the end when I stopped taking it. I haven't had any problems since while being off the medication. I had no problems stopping the medication.

Follow up to my original post: After the sixth week of taking the Zyflamend, and no return of the rosacea, I called my doctor, and the upshot is that he didn't think that it's being a COX2 inhibitor was a problem in and of itself (Vioxx was a unique problem), and said that he couldn't find Z., on the FDA's watch list, so I should feel free to experiment with no worries that he could predict. difficult to ascribe side effects to specific drug from other drugs taken e.g. simvastatin,lansoprazole, aspirin 75 mg.or for that matter from advancing age (75 yrs.)
