vI have been on Lyrica for Neuropathy for the past 5 and 1/2 years. It worked about 70-75% of the time for the first few years but now it works less than 40% of the time. My biggest problems with the Lyrica is the side effects-you name them I have them; weight gain (30-40 pounds), chills, night sweats, insomnia, depression, fatique, lack of motivation, memory loss, confusion, sleepiness, abdominal pain, GI bleeding, nose bleeds. I'm taking the highest dosage for the solus pen once a day and have not noticed any change in blood sugar. Had to get off metformin because of digestion problems which are somewhat better now, but still persistent at times. I'm going to see if doctor will change everything next office visit.

I went from a healthy weight of 140 (normal for my size) to 180 in less than 2 months. It came from nowhere, no changes in diet were made to have effected the weight gain. I was exercising a couple times a week, I have gained and lost weight throughout my life, but never in a quick amount of time.
