I have been told to take stool softeners and the occasional laxative to help with constipation which worsen the bladder feeling. For the past month I have taken 3 stool softeners every night before bed time and the don't help. The stool become so hard, when I wipe I find blood from the lining. I am very satisfied with Concerta. I have ADD and have tried many different medications with varying success. I have had very few side effects with this drug and it works well with my managment routine. I take the it early enough so I don't have issues with insomnia and I make it a point to eat throughout the day.
