This was a very, very bad experience. I was completely unable to sleep longer than 1 hour at a time. Over the 5 months I was taking this, that sleep loss added up. I was tired all the time, could not eat due to severe nausea, and saw things that were not there (this was confirmed by my husband). This medication makes me sleepy, for which I take Provigil. I have gained weight that I can't lose. But I have not had an OCD episode in 10 years, so the side effects are all worth it.

Whilst taking this drug has got my thyroid levels back to normal and has sorted out those problems, I am constantly batling cold/flu viruses that my GP and consultant do not take seriously. Thankfully new GP has ordered a batch of blood tests to check I'm not one of the unlucky ones who have their white cells wiped out! I take Benadryl D for Sinus and Allergies and on occasion, Benadryl Severe Allergy and Sinus Headache. I find that Benadryl does NOT work in hot or humid weather and my nose becomes very stuffy. For Benadryl to take FULL effect, I need to be in a very cold room around 70 degrees. Also, the effects wear off every 4 hours or so and the stuffiness in my nose increases with the intake every four hours instead of decreasing.
