Doxycycline helped me visibly reduce my acne with very little to no side effects. It is just an antibiotic, not an acne treatment, so it works best supplemented with other treatments like benzamycin and retin-a micro. Taking doxycycline did not cause much, if any, discomfort.

I decided my senior year that after suffering irregular and severly painful and stressful menstral cycles and being in a three year relationship I should start considering birth control. Immediately after starting, I got my period. It was not common to start bleeding until you came to the last pills of the three months but the even more uncommon side effect was having my period for 8 weeks until finally consulting my doctor and having to discontinue taking the pills for 3 days for it to final... Smaller dosage with the option to self medicate every second or third day provides a rythm I can cope with and live with and the benefits are great for me. I don't get the personality change I did when I tried other anti depressent and drugs for the fibromyalgia and feel much more balanced. This has lead me to go back to school full time! and plan for a good career I can choose my own hours with good pay and benefits.

Sudafed (psuedofedrine) is the best thing out there for sinus congestion & pressure. I use it when I have allergies and it helps with sneezing also, and when I have a cold or flu. I do not experience any negative side effects. Although sometimes it does make me more awake which can be inconvenient at night. Also, buying it from the pharmacy is annoying but it's worth it because it works MUCH better than Sudafed PE (phenylephrine).
