I've been on Effexor XR for over 4 years now. I have recently added Lithium to boost the Effexor XR and it is working well. Effexor XR has got side effects like all medication but it works for me. With Lithium added I should be able to lower the dose of the Effexor. I was on 375mg a day for major depression and the headaches were too strong so I dropped back to 300mg which is better. I never get headaches but when I take Centrum for Men I get a headache and tightness in my chest, Headache and Chest pain stop as soon as I stop taking it. I'm a runner and within 2 days of taking I had all my endurance and energy zapped. I was dizzy and it continued for months even after taking. I am now anemic and I feel all my problems started with this meds. I took it for 3 days and then a year later tried it again because my doc said it couldn't have been xyzal that caused my issues. Needless to say it did and I am still dealing with fatigue and anemia.

I am not a moody or depressed person, but since taking this specific birth control I have been having the worst mood swings ranging from being being easily irritated to sad/depressed for no known reason.
