26 Nov 2011 Would not have taken first 3 month shot had know of all side effects. One month after shot started holistic, homeopathy treatment which helped withe headache but not busing or other side effects. My p.s.a. was 9.7, now 0.87. My holistic doctor which only treats cancer said this is the biggest drop he has seen. Suggest not taking any more shots since his treatment is working. Great for his treatment has NO side effects and only attacks cancer cells.

16 Nov 2011 I received 2 lupron shots 3 months apart as suggested by my gyno to reduce fibroids prior to surgery to remove them. Experienced no negative symptoms with the exception of an even lower sex drive and some hair loss during the first 3 mos. The fibroids did not shrink in fact they grew a bit but my Dr. feels it may be due to the 5 mg of hormones he had me take nightly to reduce negative symptoms.

10 May 2011 Initially I had increased pain which my doctor warned might happen. This went away after two weeks on the drug. The rest of that month went fine and the second injection went fine until the middle of the second month I started having pain again. We decided to try the third injection and I got worse than before I even started the Lupron. Getting out of bed was really hard because the pain was so bad. I had hot flashes the whole time I was on this drug. Compared to my mom who is going through menopause mine were worse. I wore shorts and a sports bra in my dorm through all of Dec, Jan, and Feb because I would be sweating so bad. But then there where the crashes from the hot flashes that I couldn't do anything to get warm. Worse drug ever!

30 Oct 2010 Lupron has messed me up bad. I was sick the whole 3 months I was on this drug. I took one shot that last 3 months in your system. I had vomiting, stomach cramps, diaherra, anxiety. I think now it did something to my thyroid. I was hypothyroid and now dealing with hyperthyroid. I wished I never took this at all.

09 Oct 2010 I took Lupron Depot in 12/09 prior to hysterectomy to shrink a fibroid. Never worked and now I have developed hashimotos and continued breathng problems. I had a complete physical in 5/09 and was in excellent health except for heavy periods due to fibroid. Wish doctor had give me birth control pills instead. Do not take this drug unless you have no other options.
