after reading several difffernt sites about the side effects of femcon, i think i have an explanation for my extreme nausea, sudden blurred vison, joint pain, ridiculous weight gain and digestion problems. however, i just saw my obgyn last week, told her of these issues and no connection (except the weight) was made to femcon. also, i am a runner and since starting on the femcon i have had an acute problem with joint pain and fatigue durring my runs, thus causing me to run at a slower pace... Ortho Tri Cyclen lo was absolutely terrible for me, it exacerbated my depression exponentially. Several people commented how "out of it" I appeared and I felt confused all the time. I could not organize or accomplish routine tasks without trouble. I was feverish and incredibly emotional. I could not wait to quit this birth control.

The first time I took it, I had no problems and, along with an anti-candida diet, my rashes cleared up.
