I get slightly flushed with Niaspam, but I take it with a baby aspirin and only when I'm going to bed. Some slight itching occurs, but I usually get to sleep fine anyway.

This is my second round of Isotretinoin. The first time the results lasted for about 3 1/2 years before I started having bouts of cystic acne again (definitely related to stress). The first time I was on it I had a lot of joint and muscle pain but I have not experienced that this time around. My sister hasn't even been on this medication for a month yet and she's also experienced heart palpations and chest pains. They believe this medicine contributed to a blood clot in her lungs and is currently hospitalized for this.

I have endometriosis and was prescribed YAZ for my birth control to help my symptoms and clear up my acne. While it worked for the first 8 months or so, all of a sudden my period just wouldn't end. I continued bleeding, all the time non stop no matter what pill in the pack I was on. I went to the doctor and tried taking Naproxen with the YAZ to see if that would help kick start the YAZ back to action, but to no avail. I am switching off of the YAZ in a few days because of this.
