I was given oxybuprocaine to numb my eyes at an opthamology eye exam, after receiving the drops I started to have convulsions. My head was completely bent back, my eyes were rolling in the back of my head and I was grinding my teeth. The convulsions lasted for hours on the day of the eye exam and returned sporadically the next day. I like using Midol for menstrual cramps and I've used it for several years. It usually works but it wasn't enough to relieve my cramps the few times that I've had severe pain.

I researched this medication throughly before starting it, and i recommended it to my endocrinologist. this medication has both T4 (commonly found in synthetics) and T3 (also in synthetic form but not often perscribed) as well as T1 and T2 which are not manufactured yet as we do not know what their role is and it is believed then that they must not be significant. I would rather take one medication that provides all of the same hormones my body should be producing but isnt.
