I know everyone is different, but I am hoping that more people have reviews like yours that they just aren't sharing! I was very nervous to start, but your review made me a little more relaxed about it!

I'm on my second pack of LoSeasonique and I've still been having a monthly period, except it's lighter but about two days longer. I'm almost finished with this pack and the bleeding is just now starting to show signs of stopping (it's much lighter and just spotting). I called my doctor and she's switching me to the regular Seasonique, but I'm only going to give it one pack and if things don't get better, I'm going to see about switching completely. it is a good method for birth control because you change it once a month but there is a lot of vaginal discharge with it.

Unfortunately, I have had a real problem with hormonal birth control. I'm currently taking Microgestin, and while I'm kind of miserable on it, it's not as bad as what I experienced with Ortho. My only real complaint is that I have developed contact lens intolerance, and get red, gritty, painful eyes every time I wear my lenses for more than one day at a time. I do seem to have suffered from more side effects this episode but I was having to take the drops half hourly for a week and then hourly each day and night for 2 weeks before weaning down to 3 times a day now.
