I have a very hectic and stressful life - Xanax brings a peace and calm to me that I cannot naturally develop. It allows me to keep my life balance and has definitely helped me out greatly. The only down side is that I have to be careful mixing alcohol with the drug. It's not pretty when you do!

After 2 years it seemed like the Plaquenil was no longer working. My Rheumatologist switched me to Azathioprine but I had an allergic reaction to it. I am now back on Plaquenil and it seems to be working again along with Prednisone.

I wasn't told that it could have possible side effects of raising blood pressure and chest pain. Even though I think what I went through may be rare, I think it should be listed on brochure and people should apply topical cream sparingly.

When I first started Ortho-Tri Cyclen (Lo) I was bed-bound with sickness for two days. For the next year I would have morning sickness for the first week of every pill pack each month. This eventually subsided. I also gained weight, however I lost the weight eventually as well, my breasts remained a full cup size larger though. Benadryl works great for me- that is, it works fast and relieves all of my allergy symptoms (which are very severe). However, it makes me extremely drowsy, so unfortunately I cannot take it if I have anything to do.
