I was on Prozac for over a year when I first started taking it. My mother says I seemed to have a better attitude and I was altogether getting better. Then, in December 2008, I abruptly stopped taking it. I had a host of withdrawal symptoms and worsening depression and thoughts. I am prescribed Vigamox when I have Conjunctivitis and it begins working right away. The redness in my eye was cleared up within a couple of hours. I recommend not putting in contacts if you are a contact wearer for at least two days when using Vigamox because you can never be completely sure that your pink eye is gone.
