LoEstrin is like a godsend to me. Since taking it, my periods have been significantly lighter and last only 3-4 days instead of the very heavy long (8-9 days) flow I used to have. Also, this medication has significantly minimized my cramps from very severe (used to have to stay home in bed) to barely noticeable. I would highly recommend this medication to anyone who is suffering from extreme periods.

I have taken nuvigil for about a year now. I have not had a problem with hair loss. As for sleeping, I don't normally have a problem. I too am a teacher and have difficulty with my summer's lack of routine. I know the medicine doesn't help as much if I don't take it right away in the morning. Also, I have started using the alarm clock to have a more consistent wake-up time; this seems to help too.

I was prescribed dexamethasone for severe inflammation in my tonsils when I had mononucleosis. I was unable to swallow and had difficulty breathing due to my enlarged tonsils, but the dexamethosone improved the swelling significantly very quickly. It made me very hungry, but I had also lost a lot of weight from my illness, so this side effect was not bad for me. Like Toradol, an EXTREMELY effective painkiller. Very useful for older patients who are not only often living in chronic pain, but also depressed, anxious, and becoming demented.
