The generic name of this medication is acetaminophen and codeine phosphate and brand names are Tylenol with Codeine; and Phenaphen with Codeine.

Tylenol + Codeine is manufactured by Sandoz Pharmaceuticals.

The active ingredients of this medication are chlorpheniramine maleate and anithistamines.

The number 3 variety of this medication contains the following inactive ingredients: powdered cellulose, magnesium stearate, sodium metabisulfite†, pregelatinized starch (corn), and modified starch (corn).

The number 4 variety of this medication contains the following inactive ingredients:powdered cellulose, magnesium stearate, sodium metabisulfite†, pregelatinized starch (corn), and corn starch.

It is primarily used in the treatment of mild-to-moderately severe pain.

06 Jan 2012 Really like this medication for pain relief. Works well for headaches, but not for other aches and pain. Like capsule more than tablets that are chalky.

29 Aug 2011 This was very effective for my pain, but in addition it caused drowsiness and felt i could only take it at night just before bed. I would recomend taking this only at night since it does not allow you to function normally. It could be that I was not used to taking it.
