I take the drug as prescribed other than when I have bouts of sleeplessness or twitchiness at night. When this happens I stop taking the medication for a few days/weeks to reduce it in my system and then start it again.

It's great for dealing with congestion/hay fever, but I stopped taking Drixoral after a short period of time because for me the dry mouth and thirst outweighed the benefits. I found myself drinking much more than usual because of my dry mouth, and consequently having to visit the bathroom much more frequently than usual. I was prescribed this for a recent injury. I find myself enjoying them far more than I probably should. The fear of addiction is overwhelming. I have tried to take them only when I feel I absolutely have to.

The medication is okay, it mildly decreases my blood sugar. But when my blood sugar is high, I take the tablets, and a lot of water, which increase urination.

After trying several other medications, Amrix was the first to relieve the intense constant pain in my head. I was extremely tired the first couple of weeks after I started taking it.
