Whenever I would get food poisoning I would take domstal (domperidone) and the vomiting would stop immediately. However, if I missed a dose the effect would wear out. You need to continue the dose as prescribed otherwise the nausea will return like it did for me.

It works, but not great. I have to take twice the recommended dosage (which I probably shouldn't) just to get some effect. I do still take it most mornings, though, because I have year-round allergies and sinus problems and usually wake up with a lot of congestion. On the plus side, a couple of tablets in the morning will usually decongest me enough to get me through the day. It does occasionally make me thirsty and tired.

I've been taking Reclipsen for about 3 months now and it's been alright. Slight mood swings, little bit of nausea in the mornings, and some pretty gnarly headaches but thats it. No weight gain. No acne. No spotting. No cramping. I'm starting on the brand name version (Desogen) this month because planned parenthood didn't have any Reclipsen left, and I'm hoping that things will stay the same. Last year while I had the H1N1 virus (didn't know it was the virus at the time, I had it prior to all the publicity) I was taking Zicam to relieve the sinus congestion that I had. I may have taken it a little longer than prescribed because what I had was not going away, nasty flu. Anyway I did get better but I have lost my sense of smell! It's been over a year now and it still has not come back.
