I have been taking syntroid for over 1 year to suppress remaining part of thyroid after surgery(pappillary carcinoma). I have: fever, fatigue, nervousiness, high temperature, high blood pressure, tremor, anxiety..... My endocrinologist ignores my symptoms saying that I have to stay on syntroid. Unfortunately Microgestin Fe has caused me to have bloating and irregular stool, breakouts and a change in skin type from normal to Oily, extreme gas, stomach cramping that lasts weeks at a time, I have not had weight gain but my body does appear to be swollen (not only to the sight but to the touch), fatigue. I do not recommend this drug.

It is really good if you suffer panic attacks or depression and insomnia but I have only been married for one year and my husband is ready to leave me as my labido is non existant and we used to be very energetic in that department so id say for me anyway this is the downside to taking it

I'm a slow but steady emotional rollar coaster...at the beging of each pack I become emotional about things that normals wouldn't make me feel that way. Next color, more emotional and it continues until I hit green. Then for that one week I'll feel "normal" again.
