I have had normal blood pressure, top number in the 120's-130's, bottom # in the 70's, all of my life, and now that I have been on Yaz for a year my numbers have absolutely skyrocketed. Now I'm getting readings anywhere from the 140's over 80's all the way up to the 190's over 90's! I was nervous to get the Mirena because I typically do not do well with any dose of hormones. The only birth control method that has worked for me in the past is the Paragard but unfortunately after about 6 months, my body rejected it. I absolutely love the Mirena and plan to use it until I am ready to get pregnant. I am 25 and have never had children. Naproxen aka Aleve is probably the most effective drug, for me, to cure a headache. Be cautious when taking on an empty stomach. Not the best for ache and pain relief (I prefer ibuprofen), but an overall effective medication with very few side effects.
