I had been taking Zyrtec for about 5 years and before that was taking an older form of Allegra. As many allergy sufferers know, these and all allergy medications only work for a short amount of time before your body becomes immune to the effects. I can honestly say after three months of Xyzal, I have been symptom free since day one. I loved Seasonique, until the 3rd month came alone... My period is 3 weeks early, I have horrible cramps, bad blood clots and parts of my uterus lining is coming out much more than usual. I used to be on Yasmin and went to Ocella (the generic version of Yasmin) which made me feel ill, which hasn't happened with Seasonique, but I am not sure the cramps are worth it.

I was prescribed Lupron to stop my periods, which were always painful with heavy bleeding. Since I was in treatment for early stage breast cancer, it was also recommended to control the estrogen, which helped to produce my tumour. I had had two 1-month shots and I am never taking this drug again. I can stand the hot flashes, the exessiuve sleepiness in my case and the feeling of weakness in the muscles.
