I have been on Synthroid for over five years. For the last five years the dosage has varied very little mainly staying at 75 MCG’s. For the last five years the drug did its job. My hair was not falling out and I felt great no weight gain. About two months ago everything changed. I was a very active 20 year old who worked out, ate well, and if lucky slept five hours a night. i had been taking reclipsen for a year and i got bilateral pulmanary embolisms that the dr.s determined was caused by the birth control. so i would suggest that you should get tested for a birth defect called the factor v lieden...birth control tells you that it increases the risks for blood clots but not why....im thinking about sueing but im not sure yet
