Within about w two hours, I had all the diigestion-related symptoms of the flu (even though I do not and did not have the flu). Without getting too graphic, let me just say that my system emptied itself completely via both ends within about 1 half-hour. Started out with 50mg 2x daily for a week, with no improvement. 2nd week took 75mg 2x daily with some good improvement in numbness/tingling. Third wee took 100mg 2xdaily and was so dizzy, could not walk in straight line. Had to hold on to the wall to walk. Only took 3 doses and had to stop. Went back to 50mg till I can get off it. Ataivan works better but does cause some drowziness.

I feel the benefits have out weighed the side effects. I can sty focused, don't get as impatient and am generally calmer. Just wish the effect on sexual arousal wasn't so great.

When I first started Ortho-Tri Cyclen (Lo) I was bed-bound with sickness for two days. For the next year I would have morning sickness for the first week of every pill pack each month. This eventually subsided. I also gained weight, however I lost the weight eventually as well, my breasts remained a full cup size larger though. This is my second round of Isotretinoin. The first time the results lasted for about 3 1/2 years before I started having bouts of cystic acne again (definitely related to stress). The first time I was on it I had a lot of joint and muscle pain but I have not experienced that this time around.
