It makes me feel better emotionally. I only have a slight increase in depression and some impatience. It makes me constipated. I sometimes have trouble going to sleep and staying asleep. I also sometimes have headaches. But overall it works O.K.

I changed to Lyrica because I heard it was very effective for pain management & it is, but the side effects of weight gain & blurred vision are not worth it to me. I am planning to talk to my Doctor about switching. There are other side effects I could live with, but I'm not taking anything that makes me more hungry. I have enough problems in that area already.

I was irritated with things that normally wouldn't bother me, from my boss, to the kids, to the soccer coach, then spending the rest of the time feeling awful for how I responded to them. I had the hormones levels checked and since my body is running efficiently as ever, my doctor suggested Citalopram hydrobromide in 10 mg for the first two weeks. Using kariva helped my greatly- of course the birth control benefits were great, but it helped my periods become more regular with a fairly low dosage as far as birth control goes.
