I was never prescribed this drug, but my boyfriend was. I took it occasionally while writing my thesis. I call them "focus pills", since the effect of one will allow me to focus on my studies for 8-10 hours without taking a break. The mind is really clear while experiencing the effect of this drug, but the feeling is addictive. I almost got hooked on them, which is particularly dangerous if you don't have a prescription.

I'm aware that the drug should not be taken with alcohol, but as I drink regularly I figured I could predict the results. I planned on just a more intensified reaction to alcohol or maybe a feeling of light headed-ness. Turns out, it causes (to me at least) blackouts and erratic behavior after only two or three drinks. It is a great pain medication.. has gave me fatigue and dizziness though. you May want to take it easy when prescribed with it

Was on Ortho tri Cyclen Lo before my pharmacy and insurance company switched me to this generic brand. I experienced a serious decrease in sex drive, which continues to this day. Besides that, the price is much better, and my menstraul cycles are scheduled to the day and time. I did not notice any significant weight gain or loss from this pill. It's worth trying, but if your libido changes as mine did, seek medical attention as soon as possible.
