One month after quitting smoking I suffered a fairly severe asthma attack and 3 episodes of migraine aura around 11 am daily (always had allergic rhinitis ,classic migraine which for the past 20 years or so no longer includes headache, just aura, and various food additive allergies), followed by a mild stroke causing temporary paresis of right leg from knee to foot. Drug was helpful in the short-term (6 months); decided to quit with a quick 6-week taper 3 years ago because of weight gain, loss of motivation for virtually any activity, and overwhelming feeling of physical malaise; experienced truly horrific withdrawal symptoms (see www.paxilprogress.org for others' experiences) had to go back on drug; have now completed 1st year in what will be a 2-year taper off this drug. Stay far away from this drug; there are much better options out there for you.

This drug, prescribed for Hpylori infection is HARSH. Every dose I ask myself whether or not I should go off it. One time I skipped a dose! Nausea, stomach aches, itching, unquenchable thirst, diarrhea, black stool, are some of the side effects. If you have to take this drug, prepare to feel awful and don't expect much out of yourself.
