Since I have been taking Synthyroid 0.25mcg, I have started spotting between periods. It did not start until I start taking the medication. I do have more energy and I feel my muscles being sore like my metabolism is increasing but the spotting is bothering me. Is anybody else spotting while taking this medicine for the first time, and if yes, how long does the spotting last, or does it stay forever or go away after my body gets used to the medication. I was prescribed Lupron to stop my periods, which were always painful with heavy bleeding. Since I was in treatment for early stage breast cancer, it was also recommended to control the estrogen, which helped to produce my tumour. I had had two 1-month shots and I am never taking this drug again. I can stand the hot flashes, the exessiuve sleepiness in my case and the feeling of weakness in the muscles. I was on 25mg for a year. I was fine. Doctor increased to 50mg a week ago and my head is about to explode. Headaches and migraines are driving me insane! Trying to figure out if that's momentary or not.
