Tried to reduce dosage to 5 mg per week. In a few weeks joint pain increased and stayed more intense until I resumed the regular 7/5 mg per week.

I suffer from a cold or allergies at least twice a year that results in lots of congestion, etc., you know the story. This is the first time I've tried Mucinex DM, or any Mucinex product, and so I am a little Leary after reading these reviews. I would agree with an earlier post that if you tend to run on the dydrated side you have to really, really start drinking water. Watch how much goes in and how little comes out. I had taken celebrex and a few other arthritis medication (1 which was taken off the market) and none of them had been very effective. I experience arthritis the worst in my hands shoulder back and knees and meloxicam does a good job to relieve the pain. I sometimes wish I could take an extra dose of meloxicam but my doctor told me to take tylenol arthritis instead. As a whole I am very happy with Meloxicam.

Ugh. Within 2 months I had gained almost 10 pounds, felt bloated most of the time, experienced moderate menstrual cramps (I don't usually get them) and started getting migraines the first full day of my period. Not to mention, I spotted the whole time I was on the pill. It's month six and I am switching!!!
