I'm sorry that your son is having this issue, and I do think you're right to be concerned. I have asthma and it runs on both sides of the family, so we weren't surprised when our daughter developed it at 2. She was pretty bad--she was on oral steroids etc and had regular breathing treatments. The pediatrician actually ENCOURAGED me to try alternative meds as he said this stuff isn't really tested in kids and we have no clue about the long term. I am on my third week of taking levora and driving home from the grocery store last night almost immediately my vision went blurred, I was very confused and I had to pull over. I had to have my fiance come and pick me up bc I could not drive. I had a pounding headache and my speech was even effected. It went away after I slept it off, but I will NOT EVER take this medication again!! Its dangerous!

It helped relieve my acne. The only reason for my liver damage and fever is because I got Mono. Dry lips and hands while on Accutane were uncomfortable, but worth getting rid of my acne.
