When I switched from Imitrex to Treximet, I found relief was within an hour and if I had a bad migraine and took a second one after one hour it was gone. In the past, My severe Migraines could last on and off for 3-5 days at its worst. Side effect is heartburn. I want to thank my Pharmist Richard for telling me about the drug...I had to ask my doctor about it and then she gave me a sample.

My mother, age 85, was taking Prednisone for pulmonary fibrosis and it caused congestive heart failure and she died about 3 wks after she started taking it. It also had a host of other unpleasant side effects, but death trumped those. It made her irritable, prone to emotional outbursts, skin breaking open and oozing, and more. Gordon Caldwell Fund

**** keep in mind that I have a pretty strong anxiety disorder, femcon has exasperated it but in no way cause it. my stats: taking it for three weeks to help with my acne, 27 years old, good health, was on orthricycline low 3 years ago without any problems. Plan B is a great emergency contraceptive. It is accessible and relatively effective. However, it is pricey at 50 bucks and caused some hormonal imbalances that affected me emotionally as well as causing irregularity in my menstrual cycle.
