I'm allergic to penicillin, but apart from that I'm one of the lucky ones that never normally suffers from drug side effects - I've been given many different antibiotics and never had any effects similar to this one. Other birth control pills made me extremely nauseated and dizzy. Also, they made my acne become cystic. Yaz, has almost cleared my acne. I do have leg cramps almost every time during the third week of my pills and never had this before I started taking it. I have been on Yaz for almost two years now and I would not switch for anything.

I have been very satisfied with Levoxyl. I am not depressed anymore and I have more energy. However, lately I have had chills and goose pimples especially on my right side and arm. Some times in the evening after a long day's work I also get pain between my shoulder blades and needs to sit down. It may be something else?

I guess the insulin injections lower my blood sugar, it is just satisfying enough. The thing is that I have to take it everyday, and injections, I don't really like it!

Azelaic acid always wipes out my pimples but it does nothing for black heads. My doctor prescribed it a few years ago and I still use it as a spot treatment. However, I'd be more satisfied with a treatment that makes my acne disappear for good.

M/W/A 57yrs 6'+ 235lbs, was put on Simcor Sept 2010, due for first CBC since medication started next week. My triglycerides were through the roof, 500+, LDL was only 179, but HDL was in the basement, so DR put me on 1000-20 Simcor. He warned me of the "flushing" as he put it, and wanted me to take it at bedtime to limit this side effect.
