I did not find this drug to be effective in treating my hurtburn as a matter of fact it upset my stomach and i had to ask my doctor to prescribe me something else.

vI have been on Lyrica for Neuropathy for the past 5 and 1/2 years. It worked about 70-75% of the time for the first few years but now it works less than 40% of the time. My biggest problems with the Lyrica is the side effects-you name them I have them; weight gain (30-40 pounds), chills, night sweats, insomnia, depression, fatique, lack of motivation, memory loss, confusion, sleepiness, abdominal pain, GI bleeding, nose bleeds. I TOOK ONLY ONE PILL! MY HEART STARTED RACING ! COULD NOT FOCUS ON ANYTHING LONG TERM! PANIC ATTACKS AND RESTLESSNESS! HAD TO WALK IN THE COLD TO SUBDUE ITS EFFECT! AFTER 4 HOURS STILL TRIPPING ON THIS CRAP!

During the spring and summer I use tincture of fresh Hawthorn leaves and flowers. During the winter I switch to the fresh berry tincture. My blood pressure used to be 140+/98+ on a pretty regular basis with occasional peaks up to 200/120. After a couple of months taking Hawthorn tincture my usual bp is below 120/80 (typically 117/ 76) with occasional spikes up to 150/94. My heart murmur has also disappeared and I rarely notice any irregular heart beats.
